Tectus acted extensively for Shell in the replanning / refurbishment of Shell-Mex House, a Grade 2 listed building. The most comprehensive project undertaken was for Shell UK Oil Ltd (SUKO).
This involved moving and working around more than 800 staff whilst they were in continuous occupation of the building - over a period of 11 months - and included the replacement of an electronic trading floor. Our work included liasing closely with the users and in-house specialists to produce all necessary CAD drawings and specifications, for adaptations and installation of mechanical, electrical and communications services, raised floors, ceilings and demountable partitioning.
