The Kingston Quaker Centre will be a building for Quakers and the wider community. The new Meeting Room has been designed to accommodate a wide range of activities (religious services, physical activities, lectures, etc), and special consideration was given to the lighting (both natural and artificial) and the accoustics in this room. The main entrance- through a courtyard behind a large scale stone and glass screen- provides a buffer to the busy street and is welcoming and distinctive. Six additional rooms of varying sizes will be available for community use. The generous existing rear garden has been retained.
