The complete refurbishment and re-servicing of an outdated and inflexible bar and coffee area to provide enlarged and upgraded facilities, capable of re-arrangement into the large conference facility that the College lacked. By exchanging conference seating from an integral storage area for stackable easy chairs, an informal seating area can be converted into a 100 person air conditioned conference room, complete with full audio visual facilities. Natural stone, timber and leather finishes were chosen to complement the garden views. A discounted cash flow projection shows income from hiring this facility in profit on its capital investment after three years.
